How long have you been in the construction industry?

I'm fresh out of university having just finished my master's at Exeter uni (Penryn Campus) in September. I'm excited to have joined Fox Construction and begin my career not only in construction but also within the sustainability sector. 

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy the variety of work that’s come my way since starting here. I’ve already learned a lot about the industry in my short time here so far! I’ve also enjoyed getting stuck in, picking things up as I go, and learning from the people around me. Everyone’s experience and way of doing things has taught me something new, and it’s made settling in much easier.

Career highlight or project that you are most proud of?

As a new starter I don't have a career highlight just yet, but I'm looking forward to putting my educational background in sustainability to good use and learning how to apply it to the real working world of construction. With the company newly B Corp certified, its a great opportunity to start my career in sustainability. 

What is your passion outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that i can: Sea swimming, hiking, running, surfing (attempting to anyway) and scuba diving to name a few.
