How long have you been in the construction industry?

I have been within the construction industry for 7 months. 

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I love coming in each day to be greeted with something different and interacting with a variety of different contractors.

Career highlight or project that you are most proud of?

My proudest moment so far being with Fox was prepping and handing over Weights & Measures and Changing rooms at New County Hall whilst the Senior Site Manager was on Annual Leave, 2.5 months into my new job role. 

What is your passion outside of work?

Outside of work, I am very passionate about sport and staying active, and I have been part of a team throughout my life. I play Netball for my home club, Newquay Netball, where we train and compete weekly. This allows me to unwind while maintaining my fitness.

In addition to playing, I also umpire and coach Netball. I enjoy developing younger players’ skills, watching their confidence grow, and seeing them apply these skills in match situations.

I am also the Sports Therapist for Camborne Rugby Club and Cornwall County Rugby. In this role, I provide pitch-side first aid on game days, as well as taping and treatment before, after, and during games and training sessions. I thrive in the fast-paced environment and the pre-game atmosphere, working closely with the team to ensure all players are fully prepared and supported before and during matches.
