How long have you been in the construction industry?

I’ve been in the construction industry since I was 18, so around 14 years now. I started out as a labourer, worked my way up, and completed my NVQ in brick and blockwork before moving into site management. I’ve learnt a lot along the way and still enjoy developing my skills.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy learning new things and keeping up with changes in the industry, building good relationships with people, and seeing a project through to completion.

Career highlight or project you are most proud of?

I’ve worked on a number of high-end, high-profile celebrity homes. I still drive past some of them and feel proud of the work and the finished result.

What is your passion outside of work?

I love CrossFit, getting in the sea, and anything with a bit of adrenaline. I also really value spending weekends with my family and teaching them new hobbies.
